It's so fun to have someone to share Oreos with. Hailey LOVES them. She's taken to asking for a cookie before her afternoon nap. And at night before bedtime. And at random times throughout the day. I love watching her face turn all black down her chin and her fingers. It reminds me of a segment on Sesame Street when I was a kid where a baby ate a chocolate cookie and wouldn't share it with Cookie Monster. She was covered in cookie. Same concept here. For some reason though, Hailey only eats the creme filling now. She hollers at Mommy to eat the outside parts. Yumm. Fine by me!
This evening Bobby wanted to ride his bike around the neighborhood. And of course he wanted to take Hailey with him. So, he pulled her in her wagon behind him on his bike. Safe? Probably not. Hilarious to see? Absolutely. I kissed her and wished her luck before her adventure. Then I laughed hysterically when they rode away. Hailey had a look on her face like "you're gonna what?!"
Yesterday and today we welcomed the arrival of the rest of our stuff out of storage. I am happy to see some of the stuff we've been living without for almost a month and a half. Bobby says he liked it better empty in here. Not me. Ya, it's flowing out from every crevice of this place, but it's nice to live with familiar surroundings. Hailey was super excited to see her possessions that came off the truck. We will be living amongst boxes for a long time. But I'm determined not to feel overwhelmed about it. It'll get taken care of eventually.... One box at a time. Things I've missed the most? The couch, normal pots and pans, tupperware, and Hailey's nail clippers. Her talons are vicious!

My FAVORITE Face
I don't know what it is about this place, but I just have the need for junkin'. We're expecting all of our stuff from storage on Saturday and Sunday. That will really mess with my junkin' on Saturday. They don't really do sales on Sundays here. And there's an auction I have my eye on for Saturday too. Maybe Bobby can just monitor the moving people while I sneak away for the day. heehee. Sounds like a plan....
Yes Kim, I will post pics soon. Heck maybe now. Let's see. Remember, these are unedited photos.
Not sure if anyone's ever tried this before, but it's rather therapeutic. Empty moving boxes? Chuck 'em down the stairs! Kick 'em down the stairs. Slide 'em down the stairs. And watch them crash into eachother. And the crazed looks on the family members' faces when they realize they'll be plowed over if they don't get outta the way. Move it!! It's free entertainment. And it relieves any stress whatsoever.
I'm in love with the UPS man today. And yesterday. He's bringing me loads of goodies. Bobby's getting worried that I'm hoarding. And he's irritated that the doorbell keeps interrupting his naps. Oh, so sad. {sarcasm}. I'm getting excited to find new homes for my new stuff. It all revolves around my new hobby-ish profession. I gotta have somewhere to take pics of people. First up will be a little person. Newborn photo shoot in the next 2 weeks. Gotta get my practice on!
Hailey cracks me up. Here are her funny faces. First, Furrow your eyebrows....
Next, Can you look surprised??
Okay, i need to resize these for the web. They take forever to upload. Will try more tomorrow....

Well It's About Time!
Maybe if I just start typing, I'll get in the habit of posting on here. Hmmm....I heard somewhere that it takes 21 days to make something a habit. Let's see if I can last that long. I really want to be a good blogger. I just feel like I am always doing something different and don't sit and write on the computer. I love paper. Love physical journals. Maybe I can learn to love the computer screen too. Wish me luck.
This afternoon Hailey made me laugh SO hard. She took one of my yogurts out of the fridge. I was sitting on the swing in the backyard. She came to the door with it. I said, "Oh no way Jose." Then went to get it from her. She said, "Buh bye!" and slammed the door shut. She knew I was going to take it away. Guess she told me.
She is talking really well. Everywhere we go, someone comments on her vocabulary. I love having a smart kid. (wink!) She makes me laugh all of the time. I love watching the fun things she does and things she says. It's easy to see her wheels spinning.
It does kindof creep me out that she loves the show Yo Gabba Gabba. I mean, really, what is the show about? Weird looking creatures with weird names. She LOVES it though. If she's doing something else, she will run to the tv to see it. She dances and spins for practically the entire show. And claps for herself and her dance skills. What a cutie.
It is nice to have a little voice that says, "Bless you" every time I sneeze. and cough. and burp. Priceless.
